Fernando Torres hits 100th Atletico Madrid goal

Fernando Torres scored his 100th career goal for Atletico Madrid as they beat Eibar 3-1 at the Vicente Calderon on Saturday.

Fernando Torres has admitted that scoring 100 goals for Atletico Madrid is like a dream come true.

José Mourinho says he will be back soon

He said he is not enjoying his time out of work and that he will soon be back in management.

He also added that his family will remain in London and that he liked the competitiveness of English football.

“For sure, I will be back soon,” he told GQ magazine.

"To be fully happy I need everything, so I go back to football. I think it's my natural habitat. I have worked since I can remember, and as a manager since 2000." José Mourinho was quoted

Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane praises (CBD) Leonardo Castro, Khama Billiat and Keagan Dolly

Castro has netted seven goals for Sundowns since his arrival in the off-season, most recently scoring in the 5-2 victory over Free State Stars on Sunday.

Khama Billiat and Keagan Dolly also struck against Stars, with the attacking trio affectionately known as 'CBD' by the log leaders' fans.

KickOff.com quoted Coach Pitso Mosimane saying:

"Those three up front are the difference,"

"Leo is a silent killer, and under-rated – he doesn’t do too many things, but just scores. He’s South American, and just knows what to do. He’s well coached from development.

"Khama also makes a difference, and Keagan works hard … I’m so happy he scored against Stars. Those three are on fire hey!"

Kaizer Chiefs coach Steve Komphela gears up for 'direct confrontation' with title rivals Bidvest Wits

The Glamour Boys will visit the Students at Bidvest Stadium tomorrow, with kick-off set for 19h30

Champions Chiefs are 10 points off the pace following a 3-2 win over Maritzburg United on the weekend.

KickOff.com then quoted Coach Steve Komphela saying:

"It is a direct confrontation because they [Wits] are also there in a chasing pack and we are also there so we cannot let it drift,"

"So it's all about going there understanding that both teams want it badly. It is not going to be an easy match, it is going to be very tight but the fact remains we have to keep on chasing, that's what we are doing currently."

Komphela went on to stress the importance of grinding out results, even if the manner of victory is not entirely convincing.

"In terms of confidence this will help our players. There are stages where you cannot give your best performances but you get results, it helps a lot, If you think of a great performance without results it will affect your confidence negatively."

"So it is better now we say we don't accept playing badly but to say it's even better to grind results where at the back of the performances where it is not pleasing and admiring you do get three points. That's more important for us."

Neymar to Manchester City? Pep Guardiola wants Barcelona superstar to be his first major signing when he arrives at Etihad

Pep Guardiola wants Barcelona superstar Neymar as his marquee signing at Manchester City this summer.

With Lionel Messi considered unrealistic – partly due to his strained relationship with Guardiola towards the end of his time at the Nou Camp – attention has turned to Neymar, who would end up becoming the world's first £100million footballer.

Guardiola was the first figure at Barcelona to spot Neymar's potential as an emerging player in Brazil, even though the striker's protracted £49m move to La Liga was only completed after the manager had agreed to take over at Bayern Munich.
